Environment Artist
About Me

Coming from an architectural background, anything related to environment has always interested me. I have also always been passionate about video games.
In 2020, I installed Unreal Engine. Every evenings, coming back from work, I spent my time learning how to use the engine and create environments.
In 2021, I decided to enroll in a school to learn more about video games. It has comforted me about what I wanted to do: Environment Artist.

2023 - 2 months
Environment Artist
With my schoolmate Lévi Lucina, we decided to create a gas station by analysing the gameplay and environment of The Last of Us 1 and 2. This project was designed to help me learn how to use Blender, create RGB masks and vegetation. It also helped me improve my workflow (modular kit, texturing, etc.). As a school project, we had four months to produce a horror game. I was Team Leader, and the main Environment and character artist.
I created a 2D platformer with Phaser engine. The research focused on Ghibli style and the morphology of dogs. Sprites were created using Photoshop. Itch.io

Third year (ongoing): joint project to develop a game in a team of 7/8 students.

Second year: Art specialization, same as above but with greater access to the artistic professions.

First year: common core with Game Design, Level Design, Narrative Design, Art Direction, 2D/3D Computer Graphics, Programming, UI/UX + special Concept Art.
BTS Agencement de l'Environnement Architectural
This course covers the design of layout projects, construction sites monitoring (design, preparation and follow-up). It also includes learning about the culture of design and architecture.
